Queen Nwaguru is Prodevs’ Head of Recruitment and a worldwide recruiting expert with experience hiring the most incredible global professionals in the technical field. With expertise in Boolean string sourcing, resume evaluation, interviewing, and the usage of Greenhouse and iCIMS ATS

She has experience in fast-paced start-ups, multinationals, geographically dispersed teams, and demography.

On one of those days when Queen wasn’t sourcing talents, we decided to talk with her about her experience working with Prodevs. It was a pleasant conversation, and we would like to share it with you.

What has your experience been with Prodevs culture?

Amazing! Prodevs equip their employees with the tools they need to accomplish excellent work and succeed. Prodevs’ team is the most drama-free place I’ve ever worked. The quality of your job determines how you are perceived.

What is your team like?

Our team consists of knowledgeable individuals with extensive expertise. It’s a unique experience to watch them appreciate each other’s abilities. As our company grows, I’m excited to add more talent to our team so we can continue to innovate beyond the box. I enjoy recruiting folks with non-traditional backgrounds who bring a variety of viewpoints to the table.

What have been your most significant accomplishments on your team?

Filling client’s roles with talents that fit into the client’s work culture

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

To be honest, everyone. Every day, my co-workers make me feel important. We value the unique viewpoints, experiences, and ideas that each of us brings to our talks. Within our team, there is a unique and extraordinary sense of vulnerability. We can speak our minds and work together to overcome obstacles.

What kinds of resources have you taken advantage of while on our team?

I believe there are numerous resources. I’ve been looking for ways to make my employment more frictionless, and LinkedIn has been one of my go-to resources.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

Well, the HMO, I will say, lol.

What’s the most unique part about working here?

Firstly, because it’s remote, team members make your job easy, and the fact that I work with people, most of whom I haven’t met, is unique to me. Every organization’s DNA includes a section on workplace culture. Common attitudes, values, goals, and behaviors define who you are and how you will succeed. Every member of the Prodevs team is on a quest to build a people-first culture in which Clients and talents are acknowledged and nurtured.

How have you grown professionally while on your team?

Well… my growth has been amazing. Leading a team and making lots of decisions have made me realize I can do better. My capacity to fill clients’ roles with talents that fit into clients’ work cultures has been a big part of my development. I’ve had the opportunity to do so as our talent database has grown and our company has progressed through various stages of development.
